Confident, dynamic, determined, and brave – Kai is one of the strongest personalities among the LEGO® NINJAGO® ninja heroes. When he sets his mind to something, he doesn’t give up until he’s achieved his goal. This stubbornness can sometimes get Kai into trouble, but his strong sense of justice is admirable.
Kai and his younger sister Nya worked in their father’s blacksmith shop until Master Wu took them under his wing and trained them to become a great ninja team. Under his guidance, Kai learned the art of Spinjitzu and controlled the fire within himself, making him the elemental Fire Master. Thus, he followed in the footsteps of his father, who (unbeknownst to Kai) was the previous Fire Master (Nya inherited the elemental power of water from her mother).
Kai is an important figure on the ninja team and a favorite among NINJAGO fans, who enjoy playing with his minifigure in his signature red ninja outfit. He’s included in many LEGO NINJAGO sets.
